About Nuordic

Are your fixtures certified for use in the U.S. & Canada?

Yes. Most fixtures are ETL or cETL listed, and many recessed models are IC rated. The exact certification for each SKU is shown on its product page. If you want a quick confirmation for a specific model, send us the link and we’ll verify it for your jurisdiction.

Yes. We offer a Trade Program for builders, designers, architects, contractors, and developers. Trade members get tiered pricing, access to discounted sample kits (when available), and full specification support including cut sheets, lighting layouts, driver and dimming guidance, and project takeoffs. Email us your project details and we’ll put the package together.

In stock items typically deliver in 1 to 7 business days across the U.S. and Canada. Custom or large orders are usually about 1 to 2 weeks, and some big project batches can run around 15 to 20 days. We fulfill from our U.S. location in Lake Worth, Florida and our Canada location in King City, Ontario.

Most of our fixtures support TRIAC, 0 to 10V, or DALI dimming depending on the driver installed. Compatibility varies by dimmer brand and model, so check the product specs first. If you send us your dimmer or control system details, we’ll confirm compatibility and recommend the best driver option.

Our lighting is covered by a 5 year warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for unused items in original packaging. If the product is defective or we shipped the wrong item, we cover return shipping and replace or refund after inspection. For non defective returns, shipping costs are typically not refundable.

About Orders

What are your shipping costs?

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your address, order size, and carrier rates. Smaller orders usually ship by standard parcel, while larger trade or project orders may ship freight. If you want a firm shipping quote before ordering, send us your cart or SKU list and address.

For in stock items, delivery is typically 1 to 7 business days in the U.S. and Canada, depending on your location. Custom or made to order items usually ship within about 1 to 2 weeks. Once shipped, you’ll get tracking to see the exact delivery window.

We ship from two fulfillment points so you get faster delivery and avoid unnecessary duties. Canadian orders ship from King City, Ontario when stock is available there, and U.S. orders ship from Lake Worth, Florida. Some projects may ship split from both locations to meet timelines.

Yes, international shipping is available on a case by case basis. International orders may have different lead times and will be responsible for local duties and import fees. Contact us with your item list and destination and we’ll confirm pricing and shipping options.

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking email with the carrier and tracking number. You can also log into your Nuordic account to view order status anytime. If you don’t see tracking within the estimated lead time, message us and we’ll update you right away.

About Trade Business

Who is eligible to join the Nuordic Trade Program?

The Trade Program is open to industry professionals including architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, electricians, developers, and hospitality or commercial procurement teams. If you work on residential or commercial projects and purchase lighting professionally, you’re eligible to apply.

Discount tiers are based on your trade role and projected or historical purchase volume. “Up to 50% off” refers to maximum discounts available for high volume or large project orders on select product lines. After you apply, we review your profile and let you know your tier and pricing.

After you submit the Trade Program form, we review your details and usually approve accounts within 1 business day. You’ll receive a confirmation email with your tier and instructions for ordering at trade pricing. If you have a live project, mention it in your application so we can prioritize setup.

Yes. We ship throughout the United States. We fulfill U.S. orders from our Florida location when possible to keep delivery fast and avoid cross border delays. If a specific SKU is only stocked in Canada, we will still ship it to the U.S. and confirm timelines with you.

You can request catalogs and sample kits through the Trade Program form or by emailing us directly with your name, firm, shipping address, and the product categories you’re considering. We’ll confirm availability and ship the kit out, typically within a few business days for in stock samples. You can also order sample kits from our sample category page. You can find it in the main menu.

About Our Products

Can I get a custom color temperature or beam angle?

Yes. Many of our recessed and linear fixtures can be ordered in custom CCTs and beam angles for projects. Lead time depends on the request and quantity. Send us your desired specs and we will confirm feasibility, pricing, and timeline.

Most of our recessed lights are not IC rated,  but we do supply IC rated boxes, making them safe for direct contact with insulation. We currently do not offer any airtight IC boxes. Check each product page for the IC and air tight rating.

We carry damp rated and wet rated fixtures. Damp rated is ideal for bathrooms and covered outdoor areas. Wet rated is required when the fixture can be directly exposed to water. The rating is listed in the product specs.

Our recessed lights work in drywall ceilings and many models also work in wood, MDF, and drop ceilings. For concrete ceilings, you will need a pre installed sleeve or a surface option. If you share your ceiling type and thickness, we will recommend the right model.

Yes. All of our fixtures include the correct driver or transformer unless the product page clearly states otherwise. For projects with centralized drivers, we can supply fixture only options.

Installation

Can I install these myself or do I need an electrician?

We recommend installation by a licensed electrician. It ensures safety, code compliance, and warranty protection. If you are experienced and your local code allows DIY, follow the included install guide and make sure power is off at the breaker.

Yes. Every product page includes a cut sheet, and most fixtures have an installation guide. If you need a full spec package for permits or trades, email us and we will send it.

Cutout size varies by model and is always listed on the product page and cut sheet. If you are replacing existing lights, measure your current cutout and send it to us so we can match you to the right size.
Some models are compatible with sloped ceilings and others are not. Adjustable gimbal styles usually work best for slopes. Tell us your ceiling angle and fixture choice and we will confirm.
Yes. Our drivers are selected to minimize flicker and provide stable dimming. Flicker performance can still depend on dimmer compatibility, so if you notice flicker, contact us and we will help troubleshoot or recommend a different driver or dimmer.
