The 5mm DOB LED Tape is engineered for projects where space is limited but performance cannot be compromised. DOB stands for Diode on Board, referring to the high-density SMD LED configuration mounted directly onto the PCB to create a continuous line of light. The result is smoother output and reduced visible spotting compared to conventional low-density strip lights.
With an ultra-narrow 5mm PCB width, this strip fits into extremely tight aluminum profiles and detailed millwork applications. It is particularly well suited for cabinetry, shelving, display cases, toe-kick lighting, and architectural reveals where a minimal footprint is critical.
The free-cut design allows installers to cut the strip at virtually any point for precise on-site customization. This reduces material waste and simplifies complex layouts. Operating at DC24V constant voltage and 10W per meter, the strip provides lumen outputs ranging from approximately 710 to 780 lm/m depending on color temperature selection.
Available CCT options include 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K, and 6500K, all with CRI ≥90 for accurate and natural color rendering. Color consistency is controlled within SDCM ≤3 and supplied from a single bin to maintain uniformity across installations.
Each roll comes in a 5 meter length and features strong adhesive backing for secure mounting. Optional IP65 protection is available through nano coating or shrink wrap for humid environments. Rated for 50,000 hours and backed by a 5-year warranty, this strip is designed for professional architectural lighting applications.
