ETL Certification

Selected Nuordic recessed luminaires are ETL listed by Intertek to North American safety standards. Not every product in our range carries the listing, so we ask that you confirm it for each fixture you specify.

ETL is a nationally recognized testing mark issued by Intertek, confirming that a product has been independently evaluated against the applicable UL and CSA standards. The cETLus mark is accepted by electrical inspectors and authorities having jurisdiction across the United States and Canada.

Confirming a specific fixture

Each product page states the certification that applies to that fixture. Where a page does not show an ETL listing, please treat the fixture as not listed until we confirm otherwise.

Inspectors can verify the listing independently in Intertek's public directory using the control number above.

Documentation for permits

For a permit submission or an inspection, we will provide the certificate of compliance directly to you, your electrician or the authority having jurisdiction, along with confirmation of which fixtures on your schedule it covers.
