Pick what the tape is doing, how far it sits from the surface it lights, the pocket you are building, a run and a colour temperature. Direct wash ends 12 in out · ceiling halves 0.13 m out, a tenth by 0.29 m
Where the fascia ends the direct wash is geometry, and holds for any tape: the gap times the pocket’s width over the fascia’s height, 12 in out here. What the pocket hands back past that line is an estimate at an assumed 0.8 reflectance for a flat-white pocket, on which about 76% of the tape’s lumens leave the cove. Lux is not shown for either because it needs the tested distribution for this tape, which we publish on the downloads below rather than estimate here.
